JavaScript / Active Scripting

This site uses JavaScript on various pages.

The menu tabs at the top of the page ( HOME, RUGBY etc etc) use JavaScript to 'animate' the buttons when your pointer passes over them.
The main use of JavaScript however is to prevent automated web harvesting programs from scanning the pages on this site for email addresses. These programs are typically used to add any found email addresses to mail lists, increasing the number of junk emails received.

In a bid to reduce the amount of 'spam' that is received, contact email addresses are hidden inside a small piece of JavaScript code. Consequently, if you have specifically disabled Active Scripting within your browser (for instance to stop pop-up ads), then contact email addresses on this site will NOT be shown.
