MK3 Adaptor
Having created a white bodied sensor,
it was time to go for a pure tech one (I guess you could add coal dust
to the epoxy resin if you don't like it's semi opaque look). The design
is very similar to the Mk2, but instead uses a black Durapipe (push fit
plumbing system) T piece. The following photo shows the finished article.

As I was still interested in only push fitting the oxygen sensor, a
grommet was again used to provide this facility. However, the internal
diameter of the Durapipe fitting (with all of the loose inserts that
hold the pipe removed) was a little small for the modified grommet.
This had to be reemed out to allow the grommet to be inserted.
The DIN dust plug and sensor grommet were again epoxy'd into place as
per Mk2. The exhaust port, this time, was made from the plastic lid
of a 35mm film cannister. This fits perfectly well into the other end
of the T and is extremely low profile.
Another film cannister was canibalised to create a dust cover for the
sensor.
